question on the msfs content manager

I have now almost no more room on my C: drive.  When I open the PROFILE selection,  then select then  CONTENT MANAGER there is a lot to chose from.  For example Canada can be selected and installed.  But I don't want it to install on my C: drive.  I don't see how to direct it to install on my D: drive.  Is this possible to do? If so how can I do this?

Only way I know of is to uninstall MSFS from the C drive and put it onto your D drive where you should have more room without the OS being there.

You can create a new folder e.g. D:\MSFS and move the Official and Community folder there from the C drive. Then change the location in the usercfg.opt to the new location.

I was hesitant to mention any way that involved hacking files and locations. But sure, why not.

If you do not want to do it manually, there is also the option of using the App Move function to accomplish the same thing.  You end up with links created by MS which you avoid if you move the folders manually, but for that you do not run the risk of installing updates to the incorrect location.. the default path remains the same.

Go to Apps & Features in the MS search box, find MSFS and choose Move App.
