Problem with SP1 install

Hey !I'm a french simulator's pilotI've a problem when i intall sp1 :When i have the windows where is write 'Please wait when windows configure Flight simulator X', or something like that, i've the french version sure, a window appear and say 'Error when update application program on 'C:Config.MsiXXXXX.tmp', XXXXX because the name change !And i have to choise 'cancel', or 'ignore' or 'retry' :'(If i ignore, fsx could not run after, retry doesn't works (the window reappeard), and i must cancel the installation...Google search don't have result, so have you a solution ?Thank'sLudoand sorry for my english...

Ludo,It sounds like you have a corrupted install of FSX. Perhaps one of the keys is bad in the Windows registry. What I would do is uninstall FSX, re-install it, and then try the SP1 update again.Note: If you have entries in the FSX.cfg or scenery.cfg files, make sure you back them up before the uninstall otherwise you'll loose them. If you've made any changes to the FSX default aircraft also back those up. In addition, just to be on the safe side, back up any addon scenery AND any global scenery you may have added such as FSGenesis or other mesh packages.fb
