Would someone post their complete XML file? The more I look at this the more I think this file is somehow misformed.

Thanks

There's a few things to check.

Make sure the TDS app is NOT running as admin (as long as your sim is also not running as admin)

Make sure there's no space between 1252 quotes and question mark in your exe xml file

It should look like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
    <Descr>Launch</Descr>
    <Filename>EXE.xml</Filename>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
    <Launch.Addon>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Name>TDS Sim Software GTNXi Gauge Integration</Name>
        <Path>C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi\FlightSimEXE\TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe</Path>
        <CommandLine>-FSIntegration</CommandLine>
        <NewConsole>True</NewConsole>
    </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

Still haven't solved this issue. I just tried the Cessna 414 and it's not working there now. I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with the gauge file not being into the community folder. I just recently moved my MSFS from the hard drive to a SSD drive and my community folder is in a different place. I don't know if this is the problem or not but went back and checked and the gauge file is not on the C drive community folder either, it's empty. I'm stumped 😞

That's the issue.  You need the gauge in the community folder.  I would look at those two TDS support links I posted and go there.

Thanks Ryan.

I see a couple of differences in naming, but nothing I think would be a problem on my end. I'll try some changes, but not too worried. I can always start it manually.

I would backup your file and use that code directly.

That might be the problem... how did the Community folder end up in a new place?  And where does the Usercfg.opt file point to for your content?

Search for the "tds-gtnxi-gauge" folder on each drive and see if you can locate those folders. One with Work, and one with all the gauge stuff.

The Work folder should be in the Localstate folder, the other in the Community folder.

I searched for tds-gtnxi-gauge folder on my machine but nothing shows up. I've reinstalled 3 times, wonder where that folder is going?

What does the last line in your UserCfg.opt file say, and does it match where you think your Community folder should be?

John, if you’ve not done so yet, you should go directly to the TDS Support page on their Discord. I’ve seen them fix such an issue in minutes at least a dozen times in the past.

InstalledPackagesPath "C:\Users\jfsny\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages"

My community folder (or new one) is on F:drive

Yeah, thought that was you Texas! 😎

Question. When running the TDS installer are you running it as Admin?

Sorry Bert, last line of my userconfig matches where I think the community is: InstalledPackagesPath "F:\MSFS 2020"
