Navigation problem in the antartic with Howard 500

Recommended Posts

Guest wrdekler

Hi,I'm flying from New Zealand to NZWD (Antartica) with the Howard 500. But the navigation instruments aren't working as they should the closer I get to the destination. For example: the heading indicator is set to 120 but according to the GPS my heading is 100. This is at 450nm from NZWD. I also can't use the AP for following the GPS flightplan as it deviates to much...Is this a known issue with pre fsx planes that they "can't handle" the new round earth model of FSX? Is there a way to correct this?thanks!Wanne.
