I'm just not sure it's possible to do in 2d...pieces are kinda scattered all over.

Oh, like Flysimware's C414? No problem.

For a pro like you Ron, I know it can be done hehe!

It's not nearly as bad as the asobo Cirrus or anything.

Providing there's a UV channel of course. I suppose that's a sledgehammer tool for a Blender benders. 😀

This is super nit picking here, but does anyone feel like the cockpit of all the BS planes feel very similar? I know he is obviously going to re-use instruments, but I do wonder if perhaps just a wee bit more time could be spent on making the cockpits feel a little more unique. It's only a minor gripe.

Anyway, it looks (and sounds) amazing. All it's really missing is the airframe damage/failures and a walk-around.

The planes are all Beechcraft (except the TBM and VelocityXL of course).  So naturally some of the gauges are similar.  I'm pretty sure the official logos can't be used so typically there's a gentleman who redoes the cockpit with beech logos etc and releases it as a community addon.

Beechcraft stock panels are pretty  standard. You can see few photos below standard layout plus some retrofit G5 and G600

There is the Cessna Caravan too, as well as the TBM. Maybe it's his sticking to a similar colour scheme? I dunno. It's just I can always seem to tell when I'm in a BS aircraft. Perhaps a few variations of the instrument faces, and some different colours for the panels? Like I said though, it's a minor nitpick.

I see what you mean.  I think it's kinda the black square trademark way of doing cockpits... very readable instruments.  It's hard to tell in the videos but the textures are of very high quality - they are pretty clean though.  I prefer super clean myself but I understand some like a little wear and tear.  I think that could easily be done by a repainter.  I'm not great with interiors but I'm sure someone will come along and do something.

As for panel/interiors - there are some nice variations, like this lovely wood panel and schnazzy interior in the piston

Ah yes, I love that wood panel! That gives it some more character. And yes, I think you're right about the super clean instruments, they probably add to the familiarity aspect.

You are using my cockpits? 🙂

This is so cool! I thought only a handful of people mostly living underground with two GeForce 4090 ti in Sli-modus and 2000w PSU are using it. So Black Square is not allowed to use the official Beechcraft logos in their instruments, that´s the reason all the awesome logos are missing in their instruments? Hm I thought I fix that because the small Beechcraft looks too iconic to have it missing in the gauges.

The Duke look absolute awesome but yes modding a Beechcraft emblem into the gauges (and probably seat headrests and yoke, not sure I need to check real cockpit photos for that) will again be a must.

There's no news yet from Asobo about another possible delay of SU15, so we may actually get our hands on it this week.

There are huge issues with the very latest beta build in DX12 and with FG. I really hope they don‘t release it in this state. The Duke will be a day one purchase but if I keep having CPU usage spikes and terrible fps then there is nothing to enjoy, Duke or no Duke.

Honestly at this point I'd rather have them release it now as is and fix it afterwords instead of delaying it again and again and again, I doubt that will happen though. Maybe they were able to fix that issue over the past week.
