Log Book quit updating April 30

Featured Replies

Dozens of flights since April 30.  Each one shuts down and the Sim shows me the log book entry but it is always for a flight I made on April 30, 2023.  I've tried ASOBO planes and 3rd party planes but always the same result.

I see many reports of this problem in the official bug reports but no resolution and no new reports in the last year.

Not a big deal - but any suggestions?

Maybe you turned on developer mode on April 30? Flights made in developer mode don't count for the logbook.

Perhaps. But you might note that this is a common experience. At some time, Asobo stops updating your logbook. As discussed on the most recent developers' twitch, this is a known problem (due to a peculiar bit of coding) and a fix is to come at some time. (Maybe SU13? Not sure.)

I was unaware of that!

I frequently turn on Dev mode while flying and then turn it off again.  Does the flight get logged if I start and stop Dev mode within the flight?

How about if I either start in Dev mode and then turn it off -or- the other way around?

No, the flight doesn't get logged in those cases.

I did a full flight with Dev Mode off the entire time and the flight was logged.

Thanks for helping

Mine hasn't updated in almost a year despite having made 100s of flights.

Same same.  Hours stuck at 943, and WM Planner doesn't retain my recent departure/arrivals, and wish it did!

Similar situation, except I think it is still counting my hours even though not the flights.  My locations don't change either, luckily the last time they updated they saved a bunch of places in my area where I go to and from regularly.

Mine quit after SU5, and has never updated since. Still only 600hrs, when in reality i was at over 2100 hrs at that time.

It works when it wants to work. It didn't work for me last week, but it magically started working this week.
