Going from 787H to Working Titles new 787

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've installed the Heavy Division 787X mod.

When the new Working Title 787 is launched, do I just delete the "B78XH-main" folder from the community folder?

What will happen to liveries that are made for the 787XH?

I'm just making sure I get the update when it drops!

Thanks,

Ben

You can delete or inactivate "B78XH-main" with Addons-Linker.

B78XH-main is an avionics mod, therefore not releted with liveries. Old liveries for B787 can stay.

Same for B747 Salty Mods.

Remove the 787X mod from your community folder.  Not sure about the liveries.

Will it be part of the MSFS update or will we have to download the aircraft separately?

It will be part of a mandatory update.  The new code will simply be an addition to the aircraft already installed.  It should be automatic and fairly painless.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Salty liveries won't show for default.  At least they don't for me.

Is Simbrief integrated into the new AAU update?

No, and it won't be.

When AAU1 came out for the Garmins IIRC someone said there were legal issues including SimBrief in a core components of the sim. That's probably the same reason here.

Third parties will have to create a plugin.
