This is from Cowansim on FB

Doug Schreiner I keep trying to find time for that. I'm not sure if it will be in the initial release. I have to leave in June and running out of time fast.

Ahh.  Well I asked them upon their first msfs release.  Maybe they can do it because I like the 222.

Nice heli, feels solid in the hover and handles well, good sounds and trims up very well for cruise flight.  This one is really meant to take you places.

Cameras views need work - pilot's eyepoint is off to the right of the seat (is it just me that gets bugged when it isn't centered over the seat?) and instrument views are completely taco'd.  Cycling through them showed me various views of the pavement in front of the aircraft.

Ha, took me about 15 minutes before I figured out how to allow for full throttle. I can be real dull, sometimes (okay, most times). It does feel nice and heavy and steady

Here's a download link for fixed cockpit views if anyone would like.  I noticed the external views are also whacked but didn't touch 'em yet as they're not as critical.

New default view (centered over the seat makes the pillar less intrusive on your view)

This view is set up for starting the engines - idle stop, throttle settings, start buttons and gauges all accessible / viewable:cooh0CY.png

I uhh.... set this view up for easy access to what I sure hope is the rotor brake... hopefully Cowan Sim adds some textures to it...

Can you bind the throttle to a lever or is it still a mouse thing ?

edit : don’t bother  the product page says it still a mouse thing 😏.  I wonder why you can bind the Cabri throttle and no other heli ! Has this bird a governor ?

MSFS doesnt support AP functionality for helos so unless your want to write the infrastructure for that from scratch (like HPG) it's not an option right now.

Just purchased but haven't flown it yet. If the trim behaves (small steps) I can live without an autpilot for now. PMS50 GTN integration would be a very worthwhile feature.

What I'm hoping though is that the collective axis spans the full throw of the axis. For some reason - even when calibrated - some helicopters in MSFS only reflect a power change across maybe 60% of the axis. Makes it very annoying for landings or precise movements.
