BMWorld-AMSim KSEA framerates killer

Recommended Posts

I just did a EGLL-KSEA flight in the 787HW. I get decent frames with FSLTL traffic out of EGLL, but on approach to KSEA I get major stutters and a huge drop in FPS...any ideas?

Did you delete the original Asobo handcrafted KSEA from the Content Manager page in your MSFS?

Are you seeing the slow performance only after arrival, or even if you were to start a flight at KSEA? I know that KSEA is a bit heavy on the graphics, but not to the point where it would be unflyable. However, it could be a symptom of running the sim for a long time when flying the 787?

Trying to isolate whether the issue is the actual airport itself, or the effect of a long flight, or the combination that's contributing.

It was worse on approach. Once on the ground and taxiing in, it was much better

Running DX11 or 12? Hear some airports stutter and give you some bad framedrops under DX12

Are you using AI? (built-in or add-on like AIG, FSLTL or JustFlight)?

That BMWorld-AMSim KSEA is not optimized very well at all.

I checked these three. Surprisingly the same FPS. But in JFK there are stutters when panning. (12700K+3080Ti+ 4K monitor)

@BWBriscoe, it’s been reported the KSEA airport is produced by BMWorld-AMSim, not ORBX.

I have amended the topic title.
