May 23, 20233 yr For those with the FlyTampa Las Vegas scenery for MSFS I have two questions. I purchased my copy from Orbx and the FT team (forum and email) are zero help they never respond. I do not see the configuration tool at all. 1. Does the scenery come with the configuration utility like it did for P3D where you can turn off items for the airport as well as the Las Vegas Strip? 2. Are you seeing the animated Las Vegas monorail and the monorail that runs from the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and Excalibur hotel and casino? These monorails were visible in P3D but I do not see them in MSFS. May 23, 20233 yr I purchased from flytampa directly and dont recall seeing a setting to completely turn off the Las Vegas Strip during setup. Maybe there is to turn off the water animation at the Bellagio was an option and I have never checked to see if the monorail is running in the scenery. I go to vegas IRL several times a year and the monorail isnt really something that sticks out personally but maybe its because I am always there. When I installed KLAS I recall seeing a few options you could check on or off if you wanted them but you had to run the installer if you wanted any changes as There isn't a utility you can just start up and make changes with on the fly

Certainly not when using Orbx Central. (Don't know if a config utility exists if you bought directly from FT). It's annoying as there are static SWA and AAY airliners taking up ramp space (and they don't look good compared to AI models), and no ability to turn off other items (e.g. landside road traffic). 8 hours ago, 01pewterz28 said: Are you seeing the animated Las Vegas monorail Yes, see below: (Larger image here: https://ibb.co/TcB8xbk) Forgot to check for the hotels monorail, sorry. These monorails were visible in P3D but I do not see them in MSFS. I have had it for awhile now. I do not believe there is a configuration tool. It was last updated in early March, which you hafta use their download installer to install udpate. And yes the monorail is moving around there in MSFS. I like the scenery. It's a little rough on the frames but overall its not bad because you got the city scenery with the airport also. I agree with the previous poster about the static aircraft. They are nice, but take up spaces that you may want to use.

May 23, 20233 yr There is a thread in the FT forum to remove those statics, but it has so far fallen on deaf ears. Put your voice in and help it get heard. I have since had someone remove those statics from the ade for me, but as far as I know he hasn't shared it publicly.https://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14955&start=14 Edited May 23, 20233 yr by Dave_YVR i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
