81: Too many Liveries couldn't be created

I am now frequently getting this message even though I have over 7000 liveries installed.  Anyone else getting this error?  I am using FSLTL and AIG models only.

No, this is  purely a  -well documented- problem at your end.  See the Manual about error 81, the FAQ about error 81,  or other posts here about error 81.

It is inexplicable why I am getting the errors. Can you look at my log and see if you see a problem.  

I've been using PSXT for long time now and only encountered the problem in the infancy of MSFS when the database of planes was low.  I now have over 7000 liveries and I get the message frequently.  

Troubleshooting in the manual just says "Activate your AI-aircraft in your Simulator."  Not sure exactly what that means.  I have FSLTL and AIG aircraft in my community.  Perhaps I am misunderstanding what I have to do to active aircraft?

How do I activate AI aircraft?

Activating means telling the Simulator to use these ai aircraft.

Your problem is that PSXT asks MSFS to spawn an ai aircraft based on the title of the livery found in the aircraft.cfg file, but MSFS does not know that title... So you have to tell MSFS where to find that aircraft.cfg file. That what is called "activating".

Another cause of error 81 could be that you have installed a lot of liveries that are corrupted.  But that is not very likely with AIG and FSLTL. You can see in the Log.txt what the problematic liveries are.

Yes I am only using AIG and FSLTL

Hi knitch,

Msfs does not know any of your liveries.....Are they installed in your Community folder?

Are you using AddonLinker, and if you are, are your settings right, you did not change anything lately?

I use addonLinker for FSLTL

I have been doing this way for long time and have not changed anything.  I will update AIG from time-to-time and FSLTL when they have update.  

I never got this message at KJFK or other big airports like EGLL (except KLAX) and now I get even at KJFK.

It is airport independent. You will get this error 81 message at any airport, after MSFS has failed to spawn 50 aircraft.

You will get this message while flying too.

It does not look right to me ..

I do not see a link to FSLTL in the community folder.

I see AIG as well placed directly in Community as in AddonLinker..

When using the AddonLinker I would expect you to place AIG and FSLTL in a folder say D:\MSFS Addons\Liveries\aig-.... , and D:\MSFS Addons\Liveries\FSLTL...

And then use the addon linker to generate links to these packages in your Community folder.

FSLTL link is in Community..I only showed you a portion of it.

You can create whatever folder you want in the Linker as long as it properly shows in Community. 

But you may have identified the problem. 

I had the FSLTL injector in the Community folder.  I removed it so I just have the base files in there.  

I'll try to run and see if it changes anything.

Well...it was working great for about 5 minutes.

Suddenly all the planes disappeared and the PXST kept restarting until it closed?

RT is working great though...

Check the Log.txt about why it restarted.

RT has nothing to do with it.
