Where are the clouds?

Recommended Posts

Already the second day in a row: Now flying in Alaska with live weather and it is totally clear sky. But satelite shows a lot of cloud coverage, even the metar inside MSFS shows overcast.

Is it working ok for other places? The problem is just in Alaska? Or you don't have clouds anywhere?

Could not resist and checked, in Europe no problems. So something with weather service.

This seems to happen a lot.

Or the real world will be CAVOK and MSFS will interpret this as horizon-to-horizon visibility and zero clouds.  Or it could be a data interruption with meteoblue for that region.  I don't know which might be going on.

Yes, and the preview window in select a flight also shows a lot of clouds but then in the sim totally clear sky. Also METAR in the weather window shows overcast. So the sim should know the weather because it bassically says itself it should be overcast. Really weird behavior.
