Just me or others also 100+ Addons?

You gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket.

Hmmm, wasn't MSFS announced as the one and only sim you'll never ever need any addons for? 🧐

Put me in the camp of "In use AddonLinker wrong."

Yes, there is a time saving picking and choosing the livery and airport I will be using. That said, how often I forget something and have to reload the sim anyway are not small.

Even then, Addon linker handles a lot of good things for me. I can search for duplicates. I have my adding broken down by free and paid, and the regions. It will automate renaming the model lib files to reduce conflicts. It's also easy when I plan a flight to see if I have an airport.

You don't. You can choose to add things, they aren't essential and MSFS works perfectly well without them. You have all you need with just the default.

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

We don't measure by numbers of addons we measure by GIGS!

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

I cant be bothered to worry about saving 5 to even 55 seconds in load times. It takes longer than that to setup different configs or disable addons prior to starting the sim as it is. Keep it simple and just load them all. It's not like it impacts performance, just load times.

Impossible for me. Load time = ∞. I tried.

Kind regards, Michael

That's too bad. I think too it comes down to expectations. For me, 4 minutes 20 seconds to load with 748 addons including over 10,000 ai liveries. That's quicker than any of my P3d versions were so a win in my books.

MSFS Folder = 573 GB, takes about 5 minutes into the setup screen and once setup about 2.5 minutes to get into the sim.
