FSIPanel ATC Scenarios and default MFS ATC...

Recommended Posts

How do you turn default ATC off so that it doesn't interfere with FSIPanel scenarios that include their own ATC?

It's a bit annoying to start listening to the default ATC in MFS when we have already started a scenario using it's built-in ATC 😞

I tried to post about it at their forums but so far was unable to login, although I did follow the procedure to create an account there ...

Thx in advance for any help / suggestions !

If I understood the issue correctly, isn't it simply a matter of changing the frequency of the comms box you're using, to any old freq, then ATC stop talking to you?

Thank you for your response @Overload.

I have meanwhile successively registered at the FSIPanel forums and just left a post there too:

FS 2020 ATC interfering with ATC scenarios - FSiPanel forums

Answering your question, there was a "problem" that I only noticed after posting here - I had an option under the ASSISTANCE options for the "Virtual FO"  to automatically set the radios for me, so, as the FSIPanel Scenario progressed and new frequencies were issued and I tuned them in the RCP, they were automatically changed by an active frequency of the built in FS 2020 ATC robot 😕

But even after disabling this option from time to time the freqs in a Scenario coincide with specific frequencies for a given ATC unit in sim, and as soon as I tune them I start getting interaction with those too 😕

Very nice software!

If I don't have a Navigraph subscription, will I be able to select the STARs that are in MSFS?

I guess that only if the AIRAC cycles on MFS and FISPanel are the same.
