ATR 72-600 Call outs and whooper not working

Recommended Posts

In the last few flights I am unable to hear ny callouts on Approach and the whooper when changing trim is inaudible.

I hear engine sounds, cabin sounds (switches) and sounds from scenery.

I've looked all ovr flight deck to see if there is some way they could be disabled

Any ideas?

The whooler only sounds when the trim is held for more than 1 second, try holding it on the ground for more than 1 sec plus to confirm it works.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, that's how I've been testing it. I've now discovered that in Sound Setting I have the  Communiction Device set to headphonesfor VATSIM. However if I change that to my sound system the whooler is audible as is Master Alarm.

Very strange as it worked OK previously.

On another note what do you think of our new manager? Hope he can get them motivated for next season

Ah okay, definitely a sound config issue then.

Glad to see another blue here, I’m not going to lie, I was a little worried he may have still had the Spurs bottling aura all over him, but I’m warming to his appointment now haha. What a miserable season.
