Japanese developers & Japanese WW2 aircraft

Featured Replies

I remember the old good CFS2 - FS2004 days... there were a bunch of good Japanese modelers who created aircraft, cockpit, liveries of their amazing WW2 airplanes.

I remember some Japanese web sites where one could download good freeware stuff...

I wonder if there are any at present time, in the era of the wonderful FS2020... Does anybody knows of Japanese developers and aicraft?

Beside the poor quality Zero, I can't find anything... it's a pity, Japanese Warbirds are nice and interesting...

I'm not aware of any teams, but there are many Japanese airport sceneries uploaded at flightsim.to, in which the author(s) does a fantastic job in making the airport and surrounding just like the real thing.

For aircraft though, there's just nothing good yet.

i doubt these will come, there will never be such an amount of different planes as there were in fs2004 and fsx.

it is so much more difficult to make something good now with the enhanced complexity.

i keep a fsx copy playable for those.

I'd love a Kawanishi H6K Mavis in MSFS 2020. It's my favourite Japanese aircraft of WW2. Following on from that, the ShinMaywa US-2 please.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

There’s a decent amount of Japanese scenery on flightsim.to.

Warbirds I think you’ll have to be patient or just give up😅 Unfortunately very little documentation about the Japanese warbirds survives, even here.
