I have been trying to modify the 'pitch' rate to slow it down as per the sdk, but no matter how I adjust the 'pitchpanrate' in the camera.cfg it doesnt seem to change. Anyone have any experiance with this?Tks in advance

Hi,The pan speed setting is always effective for me if changed. One overriding starting question though: there are two Cameras.cfg files - the one in the Applications dataMicrosoftFSX folder is the "real" one; the one in the FSX root directory is the "backup". Which are you changing? You can also try changing/adding the parameter to one of the camera defs in an aircraft.cfg - to test it all you have to do is edit, re-save, and reload the aircraft; that takes all of about 20 seconds. The values, as you probably know, are in degrees/sec.It all really does work as advertised.Loyd

Thanks for that, but its not the 'pan' thats the problem, that works perfectly. it's the 'pitch' (vertical) that I can't seem to get to work.

Still,PitchPanRate=20HeadingPanRate=60They're both pan rates, and function equivalently; are you saying that you can adjust heading rate but NOT pitch rate? If so that is really weird! The above values are the "right seat view" values from the default Baron - if you change both to 90, your pitch panning doesn't speed up as well as the heading?Loyd

If>so that is really weird! yup, thats correct, heading works fine, pitch doesn't change, no matter what value I use, this is in spot view btw.
