Flying Home in the Vision Jet Part 1

Recommended Posts

I've been waiting to show off this jet for quite some time.  I picked up my new Cirrus Vision Jet from the factory in Knoxville and flew it home to Minneapolis.

Please Enjoy - and I highly recommend this jet now with the inclusion of the new WT G3000 and charts support from Navigraph.

It's a rainy day in Knoxville...  I must leave the comfort of this hangar...

The SF50 is a great little jet for short hops of 200-400nm (this flight was longer but I had to get her home!)

Solid IMC but the tops must be near as its so bright

Also the SF50 is great for VFR - the cockpit views are fairly unobstructed

The newer one can seat 6 I think (maybe 3 kids in the back) but mine is configured for 4.

Dang, those are some really sweet pics! 😲 Now I see why you're hesitant to exclusively fly VR...but just imagine if that IQ could be had in VR....

Very nice shots Ryan and what a cool plane.  Kinda like a Bonanza with a jet engine.  Who makes this one, please don’t say carenado 😂

One of my favourite planes. Splendid livery. And wonderful shots. As Joey would say "what's not to like?"

You can tell it's an airplane by the way that it is

Yeah VR still feels a little arcady to me though it's really cool.  I think we're still a few years from getting excellent IQ.

You don't own a vision jet yet Jack?  I highly recommend it from FlightFX.  I believe it's Marketplace only however.
