public beta of the new PSXTraffic !

Recommended Posts

Thanks a lot for that "workaround". it did the trick!

And yes, I painfully learned that buying via Marketplace was a mistake :). GSX was struggeling with it as well and was only able to "fix" that once Asobo changed something with their APIs I think.

Looks perfect now!

ORBX ESSA was released yesterday. I ran automatic scan of airport and I don't see a folder TB_LEANRNED OFFLINE. Also, ESSA does not have *txt" file in my_third_party folder.

What I am doing wrong?

I have the TO_BE_LEARNED_OFFLINE folder with some contents and ESSA.xml  (referring to ORBX Arlanda) in the 3rd party folder.

Kind regards, Michael

Yes, I do have xml file for ESSA as well, but according to Nico, there should be txt file as well. So, I don't even know what to send to Nico in order to prepare ESSA to work with PSXTraffic.

No, no, no. It is either ESSA.txt in my_thirdparty, if ESSA is in airports\archive\ORBX\ESSA.xml, or there is not such a file in the archive and then the empty ESSA.xml generated by PSXTraffic is placed in TO_BE_LEARNED_OFFLINE, to be send to me for learning.

(the ESSA.txt is a "short-cut" it contains a path to the file in the archive only).

The rules are simple, just send  me what is in TO_BE.... and don't bother about the airports folders and subfolders.

Thx!, added to the, probably last beta, version 0.9.31. YMML is impressive with a Qf of 72.

I'll also think of a way to update the thirdparty archive only, without the need of a re-install.

I solved the problem by installing PSXTraffic on the suggested C drive. But why can't I install this on another drive?

Thanks! That might make sense, if you find a way to implement this.

Kind regards, Michael

You can install it at any drive you want, as indicated in the Manual. But keep the installation folder name PSXTraffic.

The text file for ESSA is in the" airports/my_thirdparty" folder with a few other airports.
