Just bought a 2TB SSD and it's now already half full after installing all that I couldn't before with 1TB HD I just replaced...😳😶 My new system and its 4TB SSD space is ready and salivating for 2024! lol. So that's an interesting topic which hopefully we'll find out more about in the coming months. I'm thinking it'll be something like this: 1) Existing aircraft add-ons will work as-is or with minimal changes (per what MS/Asobo have said), and might even pick up advantages from the new 2024 physics/aerodynamics/visuals for free. 2) To fully take advantage of all the new tech in 2024 aircraft devs will have to do enhancements/work, and that'll be their opportunity to sell and charge a new price or upgrade price for their birds. I expect we will be hearing more and more about the new sim down the line. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that given what they said about simulated tornadoes, supercell storms and improved storms in general, etc that the weather engine has like gone thru a major re-work.
