Very happy to be wrong about my thinking that ground details such as rocks were hand placed for the trailer. I should have had more faith, forgive me Asobo haha

Quite correct.  Looks like my hard drive will get a break from growing at the pace it was.😁  I'm still looking at getting a 4TB SSD at some point.  Just bought a 2TB SSD and it's now already half full after installing all that I couldn't before with 1TB HD I just replaced...😳😶

My new system and its 4TB SSD space is ready and salivating for 2024! lol.

Well done, you get a point

IniBuilds say in their email newsletter that just went out there is a secret project going on with a possible unveiling towards the end of 2023, which is a modern long haul airliner.

Ford TriMotor is available in the marketplace right now, Free.

First Christmas present already reserved. I can't imagine anyone NOT going to get MS 2024 on day 1.

The new physics and atmospherics surely mean quite some updates are needed for third party aircraft though, me thinks.

So that's an interesting topic which hopefully we'll find out more about in the coming months. I'm thinking it'll be something like this:
1) Existing aircraft add-ons will work as-is or with minimal changes (per what MS/Asobo have said), and might even pick up advantages from the new 2024 physics/aerodynamics/visuals for free.
2) To fully take advantage of all the new tech in 2024 aircraft devs will have to do enhancements/work, and that'll be their opportunity to sell and charge a new price or upgrade price for their birds.

You could argue storms are still weather engine changes. I expect we will be hearing more and more about the new sim down the line.

Vote to fix transparent  sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/

Like that they name-checked Andrey from IL2 joining them as well.

Well you could assume since clouds and certain other weather related stuff weren't specifically mentioned in this short presentation that they are not coming in 2024 ... or can wait to hear more given that it's still a while away, and they haven't even gotten close to revealing everything in detail yet, and they likely also don't have certain things even done enough to show yet (i.e. clouds).

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that given what they said about simulated tornadoes, supercell storms and improved storms in general, etc that the weather engine has like gone thru a major re-work.
