I don’t have high hopes as if they were to introduce new ATC they’d gloat about it as it’d really be a big deal. I realize it’s a massive undertaking, was just hoping it’d be done for the next version.

They spoke about big improvements coming to cognitive services and said "you will see". That's definitely something related to ATC. When asked about ATC in the last Q&A, they all grinned and Seb leaned toward the camera saying, "we're working on it".

I wouldn't worry if I were you. They also said nothing about core improvements to cloud depiction and types but I'm not going to assume that they've done nothing to address those.

A2A had 3 years and still FSX style graphics? that Comanche looks like a direct fsx conversion. sorry, not for me, no matter how many foul spark plugs I have to replace and oil checks. never got excited about that in real flying, don't care for that in a sim either if it means sacrificing graphics quality.

If your primary concern is the cockpit visuals and not how it flies, then it may not be the plane for you.

how about both, as in many other MSFS airplanes: great cockpit, external visuals AND how it flies.

very nice.

Silly at this point to use low-bitrate washed out videos to judge things like textures and in-depth visuals of an unreleased plane, especially from a developer who's got a great track record. Give them the benefit of the doubt before trying to put them down.

I acknowledge their track record for everything, except for state of the art MSFS graphics. The photo real material quality is just not there (bump mapping, texture quality) and never was in their previous aircraft. you may accept it, I don't.

This would be Carenado photoreal visual quality and what I would expect in 2023, not an FSX convert.

I tend to be nuanced and judge things in good faith when I can see them for myself. Not try to do bad faith judging from the lowest quality video, where you literally can't see the texture details, bump mapping or anything, because the low bitrate would have removed every single detail.

as long as it looks good in VR then I'm happy, I spend more time looking out the window than at the cockpit though 😄

agree, much better. One has to wonder why they would use such low quality video material at the worlds most important FS exhibition to advertise their flagship product.

To be fair to A2A - The whole stream quality wasn't great for the Friday FsExpo event. It was better to wait for the companies to release the actual videos on their own channels to see it in better quality.

Well, so A2A released their high quality video on their YT and other channels around 2 seconds after it started playing at FSExpo (see https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/635251-a2a-comanche-accusim-revealdeep-dive-video/ ). Also, whatever live streams of FSExpo we were seeing was not the best quality (the one I linked to at the beginning of this thread was 720p streaming).

I wish someone at FSExpo would ask Jorg or Seb about how fast they plan on rolling out the white dot/borders fix.

IF this plane lives up to A2A previous standards, nothing else in MSFS so far will be even close to how it flies.

Personally I'd take a dev spending a little less time on the visuals if by doing that they can delivery something truly exceptional in the flying experience.
