iniBuilds A300-600

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

This is a true-to-life complex airliner, with hundreds of features but we outline some of the key features below:

  • Comprehensive systems simulation alongside an authentic flight-model in line with all iniBuilds airliner products. The A300 for Microsoft Flight Simulator will feature an incredibly realistic flight model, meticulously designed to replicate the handling, performance, and behavior of the real-life aircraft. Get ready to experience the thrill of flying the A300 as if you were in the captain's seat!
  • Full ACARS/CPDLC simulation (including SimBrief) with the option for classic and modern pedestal options (like the X-Plane version)
  • Navigraph charts compatibility in a feature-rich EFB including comprehensive cargo operation simulation.
  • Numerous realistic and fictional liveries for free via iniManager
  • Custom WWise sound set including authentic sound recordings from the real aircraft, dynamically balanced within a 3D environment.
  • A fully modelled Freighter (release version) & passenger version (post-release) of the A300-600 airliner. The passenger version will include a fully modelled cabin

well, teasing a big product announcement that had already been announced before is kinda weak, but I'm here for the plane.  can't wait for some freighter flying.

I agree, the announcement fell flat for me, I am much more interested on the Just flight A300B4 and it's CIVA INS

Unless it's a good price, I'll wait for the pax version. I'm not interested in cargo ops (although some people are).

Visually it looks great, I want to hear more about the systems though.  They are hyping this airplane up like its going to be the next big thing, I wonder if their systems and flight model will push the boundaries and include anything next level like fenix are doing with their external engine model.

The A300-600F shouldn't be a surprise. They said after the A310 they were bringing it over to 2020 due to the demand from the forums poll.

…that fenix purchased ready to go from another developer.   Probably not, it’ll most likely be an evolution of the 310 already available.  Which is perfect for me,  I love the fenix, but I don’t need that sort of depth.

Given how many A300-600fs are still in use, and I love flying cargo, this is most likely a day one purchase.

I will need to spend some time with the A310 to see how I like that style of aircraft.

True, but their external engine simulation is completely their own and will probably be the best simulation of a turbofan engine to date.  The a300 is cool amd all, but not on my top list of airplanes to fly. It will have to offer something unique for me to purchase it and take time away from my fenix/pmdg flying.

This may be a dumb question, but other than these having a yoke instead of a side stick, I’m not overly familiar with the A300 cockpit. Do these have a modern FMC?

Cheers, Pete

It would be nice if they could include a virtual copilot to run checklist and do other non flying pilot duties, something like FS2Crew. Having something like this greatly enhances the experience and increases the immersion factor imo.

the base A300F-600 cockpit is pretty much identical to the A310. From what I've been told.

inibuilds did a great tutorial series for the msfs a310, I imagine a lot of it can apply to the A300-600

Is it just me or do the inibuilds a310/a300 front cockpit windows look a bit short or too low compared to the real aircraft?  Noticed this way back in xplane
