Yup asking for money up front again without a product release date in site. No videos etc, just a few pics.

Pre-ordering digital items that can't run out, what a marvelously idiotic concept.

[MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

No videos to showcase a product that at the previous pre-sale was planned to be ready for release sometime between next month and the end of September?

Other retro airliners look like much better bets at this point.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

$80??? LIttle bit pricey in MSFS for me....

Especially for a product that looks (according to the published close-up screenshots) rather unpolished, systems may be well rendered, but the visual aspect is far from reflecting a top-notch simulation for MSFS. Granted, the market for an airliner retired a long time ago - apart for cargo airlines - may be limited to a few enthusiasts, but at this price point, it could melt even further.

Maybe true but I bought the MD82 for MSFS for 80$ (bought a sound pack) and for 100+ in P3D/FSX the Maddog before and have no regrets and its just about all I fly in any sim over any other aircraft other than A2A products back in FSX. they are just that good at simulation. TFDI? IDK did not own their B717 in FSX/P3D but they are asking a lot for something that is not even showcased yet.

I think they already sold 1,000 copies a few months ago to raise capital. Now this, yeesh..... I could say a lot of things but I'll just say.... not for me.

Waiter: “Here is our wine list, none of them have been…made yet. But if you want something super duper exclusive, you’ll have to pay now.”

Customer: “What makes it so exclusive?”

Waiter: “You get to try the freshly stepped on grapes.”

Customer: “That sounds pretty…unsanitary.”

Waiter: “Oh very much so! And the best part is, there’s absolutely no telling when the wine will be ready! Or the disgusting grapes, for that matter!”

Customer: “Um…think I’ll pass on the wine, thank you. I would like to order some food though.”

Waiter: “Well, we don’t have that either. But we do have some pictures of food that may or may not look like what you’ll get.”

Customer: “What…the hell are you talking about?”

Waiter: “Pretty much every game on Steam, Star Citizen, PMDG’s EFB, and TFDi’s MD11.”

Customer: “Oh, well in that case I’ll take 4.”

A pre-sale usually has some advantages against a later purchase... where are they?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I read on a discord server it originally mentioned you would get it a week before release but it turns out that is not the actual case.

I didn't see load the page before any changes would have been made. Did anyone else see that?

This appears to be the only one:

Pre-ordering now guarantees access at no additional charge when the product enters the public early-access phase.

So in case they decide to jack up the price to something MORE than $80...... Its a solid pass from me

Why shouldn't there be two or even three? Having a choice is great for consumers.
