I said this and people think I mistook it for a model matching error... It was literally discussed in the chat. But sure.. it was a Concorde... "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

What does that mean "discussed in the chat", by whom and in what sense did that affirm the actual aircraft used? Did the FSL dev come into the chat and said "yes, we're testing the A321"? For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Someone just saw them on Volanti flying around on VATSIM and they've been setting their aircraft up as a A321, I suppose. The rest is just conjecture... On VATSIM, can't anyone set the model of their plane, but you don't necessarily have to be flying that model in your simulator? It's been a while since I used VATSIM, and I only ever flew a Cessna 172 on VATSIM so I always entered that when I was creating my flight plan for VATSIM. But I do recall that you could enter the model of whatever plane you are flying and I don't know that vPilot does a crosscheck between the plane you entered in your flight plan, and the actual plane you are flying in MSFS. I don't know how strict VATSIM is with enforcing the model of plane that you entered, and whether the plane you entered must match the plane you fly in your simulator. It was Volanta that was being checked rather than Vatsim specifically. So Volanta was showing an FSLabs developer flying an A321 on MSFS. Ahh, okay. I haven't used Volanta. That's interesting then. If Volanta is reporting the actual plane that the FSLabs developers were flying and there is no way to "trick" Volanta, then maybe FSLabs are working on an A321 for MSFS. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Typically Volanta reads the CFG file of the plane to get the aircraft type. You can manually adjust it within Volanta to correct this for whatever reason. Not sure why you would want to fake it but yeah it is possible.
