July 6, 20232 yr Must say given the amount of times FSL have dropped tidbits about their progress on MSFS in the past couple of weeks it seems like the proverbial floodgates of information have opened lol, compared to the absolute silence all these years. Here's the latest:https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/topic/32739-p3d-v6/page/6/ Andrew Wilson (when a user suggested a hefty rig is going to be needed for FSL aircraft to perform well in MSFS): I haven't noticed any performance issues while running our Airbus in MSFS. It's important to remember that MSFS utilises a completely new graphics engine compared to the FSX-ESP engine that P3D is built upon. This means you can push the limits and enjoy better performance in MSFS, even when throwing more demanding graphics at it, compared to P3D. And also - I think a lot of the MSFS crowd are already running newer rigs to take advantage of technologies such as TAA and DLSS. I'm not sure now if their first aircraft for MSFS will be the Concorde.. maybe this airbus (probably A32x, hopefully A330 🙂). Both their MSFS concorde and airbus seem to be in testing stages. July 6, 20232 yr I'm leaning towards the A321 myself. Concorde doesn't interest me. The A330 would be a nice surprise indeed but there have been no reports of it's status. July 6, 20232 yr It’s highly likely to be the A321 based on various other tidbits of information found by others such as seeing Andrew on Volanta using an A321 in MSFS. I really enjoyed their stuff in P3D so if they release an A321 I would buy it in a second. Eric

But after an unexpected released, Fenix was really quiet for a while. The IAE version is still not available and we could have thought that now, they would be working on a NEO version or A319 / A321. it's not the case; they are talking about a version 2 but when? It will depends on how FSLabs is already advanced on the A32x project if that's the project they are working on right now alongside the Concorde. But I would not count them out of the race yet. First of all, Fenix has a great aircraft, and to date, I think the best Airliner in MSFS.. There is a war going on in their country, which has bound to have an effect on their development of future products. MSFS 2020 will still have it's third yet of operation, next month, and FSLabs so far has produced nothing for MSFS.

That remains to be seen as to how their A32x in MSFS compares with the coming Fenix V2 https://fenixsim.com/blog/ and its substantial updates/improvements ... ideally FSL could've focused on the A330 as their first MSFS bird, but if it's an A321 I guess that's still better than putting out a A320 ceo/neo. July 6, 20232 yr Let's not forget FSL has to work with MSFS, too. So they either use some external tool like the Maddog and Fenix or they try to do it natively like PMDG. So either way it's not granted a FSL airbus would be as good as in P3D and/or have the same features. They would def have to up their game in regards to visuals, those were really mediocre on P3D. It will be next to impossible to beat the Fenix in that regard. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Also would be nice to know why the P3D FSLabs A320 is better than the MSFS Fenix V1, and future V2 as well. It's the PMDG, even without this stupid and not-needed EFB. The FENIX flight model is completely off, and the flybywire feels wrong and completely weird. The flybywire from FBW is far better, for example. These are things they can't fix. 1 minute ago, Bobsk8 said: You didn't read what I posted obviously, I said that the Fenix is the best airliner in MSFS.. Sir, I’m interested in how man hours of real a320 flight time you have under your belt because by making such a dismissive opinion concerning the Fenix FM, an opinion most of your ATP peers disagree with as they uniformly call the Fenix a good ship, one would assume that you have some deep insight the rest of us have missed? Or perhaps you’re nothing more than a troll. Which is it? Troll, or ATP? Edited July 6, 20232 yr by btacon
