Is it working bug free? I read that it still has issues with applying correct pushbacks. That would be the main reason for me to buy it, since the freeware solution are not working perfectely with fenix. Also I would like to know if it's possible to set custom pushbacks which are sometimes necessary.

No software is ever bug free, however, I think GSX is sufficiently stable to enjoy 99% of the time. To date, I've never had a problem with pushbacks going exacrly where I wanted them.

You can download user-created airport profiles from the GSX section on flightsim.to.

You may see the occasional issue where the Fenix has overheated brakes after a pushback. If that happens, you can clear this simply in the MCDU.

Its fantastic software that brings a significant number of features. Sometimes it does weird things, but then again so do I.

Bought it a week ago. I was kind of on edge, as I know it can either massively improve immersion or just become a headache. As long as I disabled the included jetways, as they both doubled the amount of starting point on airports and they spawned inside the included ones (at least at FT EKCH), it has been working really well. Obviously there's an occasional bug here, a passenger bus not showing up or pushback being funky but outside of that, it has been great.

My only small complaint is that passenger density rate doesn't change based on it being bus or jetway. Looks silly when a bus filled to the brim with passengers arrive, looks like sardines in a can standing up but they still leave that bus at a snail's pace, one at a time with the rest standing in there doing nothing. Would be nice if some internal logic would dynamically change the density rate to something realistic based on what is being used, not just one global density slider.

The biggest bug with GSX is the animation of pax in gateways. Otherwise overall it is a good software much more stable than before (regular update) and frendly on performance.

50/50, I uninstalled it again. It can be very nice, but also vey annoying. Wish they would not focus on bring animated people to much, but more proper ground handling, with cars , pushback trucks etc driving through each other. Also I don't like the fact that it is installing all over your computer.

It installs entirely into the FSDT folder, with just Symbolic links in the Community folder. Nothing runs in the background, nothing starts with Windows, nothing continues to run in the background after the sim is closed.

Your Preferences are stored into %APPDATA%, like each and every proper Windows program out there which respect UAC conventions should do, and there's just one folder in the registry to store some preferences and the FSDT root folder, that's it.

Is this not a simple Community folder installation ?

Got an email from FSDT the other day stating all products, inc GSX Pro are 30% off and was tempted. But I really can't be doing with files being installed hither and dither as per the old P3D days.

still I don't like it, the starter of the topic is asking from buyers how we think it is. PERSONALLY I was hoping that it would focus more on ground handling than on walking zombies. but hey, I think the same about interiors in addon airports.

I purchased it a few weeks after release. While the add-on jetways were beautiful, I had to revert to the default ones in big airports because of performance (nothing against your work, Umberto, I just want to recover some FPS). However, I can't stand waiting at the gate and not enabling GSX, it's just not the same immersion without it.

GSX is one of my must-haves for switching to MSFS (apart from time-synced WX and good AI traffic, also time-synced), and I was eagerly counting the days until its release.

TL; DR: Yes, but, if performance suffers, you can revert to the default jetways.
