July 19, 20232 yr Some months are slow for MSFS. But in the last month, MSFS became that much better. First it started a month ago with the AAU2 release. Suddenly, MSFS got two decent long hauler airlines with the Working Title 747 and 787. The Working Title 787 in particular, is getting more and more popular, with many people even flying the Kuro, which is based off the Working TItle 787. Then the Just Flight F28 Fokker is released, and this is definitely a high fidelity aircraft that is already enjoyed by many. And finally, almost one month after AAU2, we get the A2A Comanche release. So far, the reviews and feedback on the Comanche have been stellar, with many calling it the best GA plane they have flown for MSFS. This last month kind of reminds me of April to May of 2022. Also in roughly the span of a month, to a month and a half, we got the Leonardo Maddog, Just Flight BAE 146, PMDG 737-700, and Fenix A320 in a very short time period in 2022. And then sometimes we go through months that are relatively calm and quiet (ie. August is looking to be a quiet month, unless there is some surprise). But not this last month🤣. July 19, 20232 yr Don't use either of them. Waiting for Fenix (whatever they deliver), PMDG EFB and 777, iFly MAX, FT EHAM, Weather Radar. July 19, 20232 yr The speed at which I bought addons for MSFS alone is staggering. Gave up on P3D (only the 3 major tubeliners are there; which I barely fly now, cuz the graphics are now yukky). The performance on MSFS with my i7-5820K + 2070 Super is insane and I have Quest 2 VR also. A2A Commanche is a dream in the sim (BlackSquare addons are amazing too...can't wait for the Duke) I bought so many airplane addons in 1 month and I am like wow. July 19, 20232 yr Gotta add all the juicy news and details received about MSFS 2024 to that list too 🙂 , and hopefully numerous feature deep dives about it between now and until it releases. Now that the A2A Comanche has dropped, apart from details about v2024, I eagerly await the Fenix V2, and more details (and/or release!) about the: FBW A380, PMDG 777 and FSL's coming airbus offering for MSFS (which looks likely to drop before the Concorde). What a time for flight simming. What a time for flight simming. If the FBW A380, PMDG 777, FSL's airbus, the Gateway Scenery System, and Fenix V2 all dropped in 2023, that would be too much for MSFS - it would cause flight simulation "Inception" and reality would be torn apart 🤣 Edited July 19, 20232 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Still concerned it will not be possible to get the turboprop simulation actually accurate -- and not accurate within the limitations.... MSFS 2024. July 19, 20232 yr It was also the month for Amazon Prime day. Several USA vendors run huge sales on the same day. I bought another monitor for $299 at BestBuy. It's now back up to $350. I now run two identical v1440p monitors side by side and use Nvidia Surround to extend MSFS across both. And use Nvidia Control Panel to change that to 5177 x 1440 In other words using 57 pixels of bezel compensation resolution (5120 + 57 = 5177). Bezel compensation makes a round dial on the airplane panel behind the bezel look round instead of oval. You can do this with 3 monitors side by side, too. The important thing is to have all monitors the exact same make and model. Otherwise the colors and image will never match, despite any adjustments. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
