That's an Asobo issue at the moment. Listen to or read the interview with the developer, it has been addressed several times in several different venues.

I have never experienced such a massive ATC fail with PF3 or FSHud. So, no, it's not just an Asobo issue.

It is a very basic duty of ATC to not clear two aircraft for takeoff on the same runway in opposite directions at the same time, isn't it?

They should get the basics right first before adding stuff like Pireps.

FSHud controls the traffic.

B-ATC *will* control the traffic, but not version 1. The dev plans to see if MSFS 2024 will come out with native API to allow him to control the traffic; if it does not, then he will invest resources into controlling AI. His reasoning is that he'd rather spend a year working on core features than something that Asobo might fix natively next year. In either case, version 2 will have AI control.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Beyond ATC gives clearance to the user based on the real ATIS, while MSFS gives clearance to the AI aircraft based on it's bugged ATIS, which many times is the opposite runway. It's been like this since they introduced METAR weather. It happens with all other ATC addons except FSHud, which injects it's own traffic. It seems you have been living in another planet really.

There's some annoying things I'm hearing hehe.... that a lot of controllers do, but is wrong.  Like saying "Taxi to runway XX"  It's "Runway XX, taxi via...."  Even pilots are reading it back now that way (it used to be taxi to runway but that was quite some years ago).

Or instead of saying "runway zero one left" they say "zero one left"

Overall it's pretty cool - like if you make a mistake on the readback the software corrects you.

They are always asking for real world controllers in the Discord to help them with those things. I believe that if you go there and say you are a controller they will add you to the beta and you can help them with that. They already have some.

Unfortunately I don't have time to help...  Barely touch the sim as it is.  Maybe I'll throw in some suggestions

Do you have a link to their channel?

I'm curious to know where it's getting its voices from?

This is a quote from the dev:

Amazon, Google, elevenlabs etc. Were using multiple sources to bring the 100+ voices with accents.

So if the voices are coming from Amazon, Google, elevenlabs, etc. would that mean beyond atc is including them in their app? Or do the devs have some sort of membership subscription that will end up costing the end user in order to use those voices?

This is a mess. All the AI traffic is sent to 26L/R for takeoff while the user aircraft is sent to 08L. To cap it all an AI aircraft is cleared for takeoff on 26R right at the moment the user just started his takeoff roll on 08L.

They have a long way to go.

That's an issue with the sim, not the ATC program.
