Guess 737 NG is getting ready to become a consultant pilot for Toliss ūüôā

Unless PMDG starts producing bus models too...

But I believe Randazzo is announcing a WW2 glider anytime soon instead¬†ūüėĀ¬†because those didn't have an EFB¬†ūüėú

You guys are giving too much attention to this guy. 737NG this, 737NG that.
I don't want to cause any chaos by my comment, but there are many pilots out there using both sims. Majority have a (slightly) different opinions and experiences, and I would not rely on one pilot experience. Why? Because as all people, RW pilots or not,  base their impression/experience on many many factors. Every brain perceive reality differently. RW pilots have knowledge undoubtably, but they are also not consistent in experiences (read below).
After working with few pilots in my sound design career for P3D/XP11, believe it or not, all, literally ALL pilots had a different experience with audio environment. Some say this is louder, some say other is quieter, this is higher in pitch, other is lower, etc etc. Some pilots are wearing noise cancelling headsets, and they base their experience on that, which is completely different of course. MANY VARIABLES. How I based my sound design then? On evaluation, pure logic and¬†intuition. It ended as a good method. ūüôā

Oh, and forgot to mention the endless discussion between RW pilots about XP vs MSFS! One group say XP is better, other MSFS. I repeat, both are RW pilots. So who to believe?

Think about it.

He's making good content, that we are interested in, another just dropped

Well, the last 4 or 5 people claiming to be real world pilots, making XP12 YT videos, and saying it wasn't amazing

Turned out not to be real world pilots.

Probably not them.

Let me get this straight:

So you have someone who wants to give their objective opinion on a particular aircraft in a sim that everyone is interested in, that one should not pay so close attention to because of other pilots?  Eventhough he's is the one doing the video. lol

I mean come on.

Hi,

One thing to keep in mind when perusing content such as this, through the process of elimination there must be a greatest R/W  pilot that ever lived and the worst R/W pilot as well. I would imagine those touting MS2020 over XP12 as far as physics and handling must be near the bottom of that list!

Anyone that has the ability to be objective about base platforms (and have used these platforms) can easily see this to be true! Most out there just regurgitate what they read and believe to be true. Keep one thing in mind, bad R/W pilots slip through the cracks and get certified on a regular basis!!!

I expected this comment is coming. ūüôā
The nature of how I wrote my comment, simply attracted this response.

So, of course I'm not implying that. Objective opinions are welcome and needed. The more we have, the better, but as I said, equals more confusion and "chaos".
I agree to a point that my post is over-reacting, but that is due to the fact that you guys are creating new topic for every compare video he uploads. I'm not bashing his knowledge, experience and determination by any means, it's just looks like you are forcing someone's opinion to the masses.

I'm apologize if I'm seeing a wrong picture.

It the masses that is forcing the opinion of what is important in flight simulation that skirts the whole concept of what makes a good aircraft in a sim, by focusing only on looks, the graphic and texture over systems and flight characteristics that function like the real thing. He's only putting the emphasis where it needs be rather than flying outside and looking out the window, marveling over how cool it is.

Simple: Me. I have XP12 installed, but not MSFS. So that settles it! [Slams fist on table]

But surely it is not a proper flight sim video if you are not flying along outside the plane as if you are superman, with a generic 2D instrument panel showing how cool your knots and altitude are.

OMG.... I need to make an XPlane plugin that adds that Tesla symbol to 3rd person view.

Well,

It is always subjective, ofc, specially when it comes to hand flying, weather effects modelling, etc... But I do retain the important opinions these pilots, 737NG, Easyjetsimpilot, flightdeck2sim, Magnar ( really like this one in particular ), V1-Simulations, as well as some really nice youtube channels by aerodynamicists : Flight Model Review

They're all important to evaluate some aspects of the addons we use, given we do not fly them for real...

As a glider pilot, I have my own view of the simulators I have tried along my simmer life... and should I have the skills and patience to become a youtuber, I would gladly try to give my views too, trying as much as possible to be unbiased ...

If 737NG would have had an outspoken opinion not in favour of X-Plane I doubt he would get much attention in these parts of the forums.

737NG's last video on the Zibo, linked above by @mSparks, is one where he once again praises the Zibo 737 for closeness to the real thing, from the systems modelling to the aerodynamics and feel of flight, even commenting on how much better X-Plane's Zibo does some aspects of asymmetric flight compared to MFS 2020.

This looks to me as unbiased and valid.

If the world was flat, flat earthers would be right, then they would get a lot more attention round here as well.

I personally don't have a problem with any of them not really given much attention by people who know better ūü§∑‚Äć‚ôāÔłŹ

No more than if flighdeck2sim opinion not spoken favorably about the PMDG aircraft who happens to be a zibo mod tester that would not get the attention that he enjoys from the MSFS camp.

There is nothing unique about what is being done here that has not been done on the other side.

Exactly my point. Regardless of preference, we're all constantly in search of confirmation that what we like is better than what someone else likes¬†ūüôā
