It was alright for myself when I updated about half an hour ago.

Vote to fix transparent  sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/

The update took about 10 minutes to download. No dropouts or looping.

can you give some pictures/locations? I'm not noticing anything strange.

Edit: I think i found what you meant. Looks like elevation issues

Yes, noticed mainly around the Danube, flying along it is quite a common route for small GA aircraft, and easy to spot. Between buildings I don't care so much, too concentrated in not crashing the plane. 😉 Manually deleted all the .dat files in scenery cache and got better (before I had many spikes, probably because of an old addon I had).

Anyway, I like it a lot,, well done!

To me, it's like downloading a lot of stuff (7-8 GB of data) that I really will never use. I haven't flown in those countries yet, maybe Croatia once, no more.

Cheers, Ed

I don't really like how Poland looks in MFS, the aerial imagery quality isn't great and it's absolutely covered in trees everywhere where there shouldn't be trees, so it could really do with a makeover, but agreed that likely there is either not much activity in this region, and it's probably of limited interest to people in other areas.

I doubt that the situation in Slovenia or Bosnia is much different.

Flew around Budapest, and it looks great! very detailed city center. Great stuff!

I am seeing the same low rates here (Germany, 100 MBit/s Cable, 1200Z), with larger files starting at 2MBit/s for the most part but full speed when reaching the end, then the cycle starts again with the next file. There's a thread in the MS Forums wich has the "Bug logged" tag, so the problem seems to be on their end. Thread is a month old already though....

finaly got it with around 2 Mbits/s, hopefully I never have to reinstall the sim, with this speed - the grafik card may be outdated after finishing... Best regards

The recipe for success ? Start the download before going to bed and get ready to fly after breakfast. Believe me, I know what a slow connection is.

The only thing that bothers me a bit are the coastal roads, when flying low. They should be more flattened in most areas. But I guess this a common issue in MSFS in mountainous areas with steeper edges. In this context, I remember the Ultimate Terrain X add-on (FSX/P3D) and it seems that this MSFS issue cannot be easily corrected by add-ons.

As far as I could see (cca 1 hr flying at a few feet AGL with a helicopter), Slovenia is very good. Mesh is substantially better than before, even better than the addon mesh I tried. I was quite surprised to see elevation changes as small as a few meters. Right where I live there's a slight drop in the terrain just across the road and railroad and it's in the sim! Mountains are also quite better than before.

Ljubljana is also well done, better than anything I've tried so far.

Where to fly? Try lake Bled, the most obvious. Or take off at LJBO and fly over the Vrsic pass towards Kranjska Gora.

The not so obvious: start near or above Ljubljana - the town, not the airport - follow the Sava river east - southeast, LJZA your destination. The Sava valley gets really, really narrow beyond the small town of Litija - a canyon, really -  and there's a very narrow entrance towards the town of Zagorje, where LJZA is located. Lots of fun flying just above the river in a helicopter.

There are some errors, obviously, like the underlying green road bleeding through a few bridges near Jesenice, then a small pedestrian only bridge which effectively dams the Sava river. But all in all it's a fantastic update, VFR is now, well, as real as it gets! 😇 Amazing, truly amazing how far we have come! Thanks for enhancing my small country, Asobo, much appreciated! 🙂

That Programmetry just sucks - IMO !

Still better, at least for me, to keep PG off all the time..

You are not supposed to fly over it that low. I wonder how long it takes until this finally sinks in. 750ft AGL is the lowest you can fly above PG before it starts to come apart.
