MSFS wouldn't start this morning

I am really surprised nobody reported this, this morning. I tried to start a flight around 9:30 AM EST, and the sim wouldn't even load a flight. The menus would freeze, when it did load, the Fenix would be under ground. I thought it was my new keyboard, but it turned out users on the FS Discord, were reporting the same thing. Finally on the FS Site, they reported a problem, and around an hour later it was fixed. I was thinking I was going to have to reinstall MSFS for awhile. 😗

FYI - "We are aware of an outage that may prevent players to use the sim today. We are currently investigating and will provide updates as soon as we are able—MSFS Team". [edit: Never mind. The information was already known.]

You weren't alone, I had the very same thing, Funny thing is, I had just updated graphic drivers. It would run a bit and freeze, run a little and freeze again. I just rebooted and tried again. All was fine since. 

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

I uninstalled an update I did this morning, and then blamed my new gaming keyboard, so disconnect it, put the old one in and everything worked. Then I found out it was an MSFS problem on Discord. \

Same issue here, and looked on AVSIM first to see if it had been reported. I figured Windows did an update or something. Once I got in and flying there were no issues.

I9-13900kf - rtx4090

32gb ddr5 4800mhz, 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

internet - 300+ mbs / Honycomb Alpha yoke / Saitek Throttle

I had a problem this afternoon UK time, loaded up but unresponsive, I thought it was because I had reinstalled weatherforce to see if it was any better now.. I uninstalled it assuming that was the case, went to xplane then for a quick flight before work... maybe it was MS all along..

Ah yes had similar problems this morning. didn’t report it though as by the time I’d rebooted, updated Windows and got back into the sim at the gate it was all ok again.

Ditto. Lasted about an hour. I was cursing everything BUT MSFS. Something must be interfering with my sim! (Jumps up and down gnashing teeth) That's got to be a lie. A: I can't jump up and down and B: I've got no teeth.

It was so bad symptom wise, I was getting ready to do a full reinstall.

There were news reports of a giant solar flare that interfered with radio reception up and down the bands late last night past midnight.. And I purchased an airport and the download speed was 31 Kbs. Hours later the downlod was hundred times faster.
