You better take off in SFO (KSFO or KOAK if you will) and fly west bound, cross the Golden Gate, and you should see the carrier soon, probably on a heading around 240 to 270 degrees. Make sure your scenery sliders are somewhat turned up, otherwise it might not appear, I haven't checked. *:-*Cheers, :-beerchugEtienne :-wave

There are a number of the new "launch-ready" carriers in Acceleration that can be used in free flight. Depending on the day/time (the carriers do steam along a route :>) the carriers are off the coast of these cities:Norfolk: N36 58 W075 29Boca Raton: N26 23 W079 58Seattle: N48 10 W123 02San Francisco: N37 52 W122 43San Diego: N32 38 W117 12Honolulu: N21 13 W157 54- regards, SkyDrift

Note that some locations display both static & AI carriers - you gotta land on the right one to use the additional functionality :>) If you have the SDK installed, the carriers & their escorts will also be displayed in traffic toolbox along with other AI objects if you are within range. You can also use the tools in the SDK to create carrier routes, so if, for example, you wanted to create a 2-carrier battle group steaming up & down the Persian Gulf, that is perfectly doable. However, note that carrier AI catapaults & cables can't be used in multiplayer mode.Hope this helps- regards, SkyDrift
