Does it have any impact on performance / fps ?  Are any specific Nvidia settings recommended to be used with reshade?

I haven't noticed any degradation in performance, but I'm also running a top of the line computer, so there may be a performance hit on a lesser system. Nvidia is set at default except for Prefer max power, prefer max performance and shader cache at unlimited.

Reshade is known to cause issues. I would not be surprised it all gets worse with lighting and texture updates. Use at your own risk.

Well, I'll skip it then, just as, after the initial amusement with the results, I had to revert to default scenery although added by SimHeaven, after a few days enjoying AutoOrtho, because it eventually reveladed it's impact on FPS to a lever I could not accept under circumstances where good FPS is really mandatory, and I rum XP12 at at least 4 flight models per frame...

Hi Everybody,

Welcome aboard.... Today we're in X-Plane 12, flying the Zibo Mod 737 airliner, in a full Boeing 737 Home Cockpit / Flight Deck built by Flightdeck Solutions.

This is a United Airlines flight (flight number 1977), with nonstop service from Boston  (KBOS) to Newark (KEWR). We depart via RWY 22R -  via PATSS7 departure, cruise at 16000ft and arrive at Newark via FLOSI4 arrival into 22L.

Hi Everybody,

Spent the day adjusting my night lighting edits, with particular attention to the aircraft Landing and Taxi lighting.

Come along through the crowded skies of Long Island and over the splendid vistas that make up Central New Jersey for a flight bookended by light profiles of the user-customized airports of Republic and Trenton Mercer.  My altitude and navigation weren't as precise as I'd have liked, but the landing more than made up for any slackage.  10 out of 10, would recommend :).

This log entry is all about Gutenshmeis' custom scenery, seeing how he released a render of Montauk. Come along as I detail why the airport is special to me and why this version of it stands apart. We'll launch from his Block Island scenery and fly there in the Just Flight Archer III. And, man, did dusting off this ol' bird trigger some feels about the state of simulated Piper planes. Anyway, once we get to Montauk, we're gonna transition into tourists and see all the little goodies Gutenshmeis placed into the scenery. Think of it as a virtual vacation and enjoy 🙂

X-Plane 12 - TorqueSim Cirrus SR22TN G3 - Philadelphia to New Haven [Log 072]

Both Laminar Research and TorqueSim updated their wares, so I had to see how they improved them.  Over the course of flying to New Haven to check out some fresh custom scenery, I point out how busy the sky can be when using LiveTraffic,  I raise my glass to a fellow aviator dealing with a medical situation, and get a complete surprise when I'm in Long Island Sound.  But before any of that, I open with a ground-level tour of StevePHL's render of Philadelphia.
