 2. The rest of the world don't really celebrate it do they?  In the UK it is sometimes know as Traitors day!

it's actually got another name but it's not worth getting banned form the forum for it 😋

I have a friend from the UK who always tells me that he celebrates the 3rd of July. When I asked him why, he told me "Because we were still winning then." 🙂 Always get a chuckle out of that one.

These bars didn't show, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall the city update and after doing so, all is OK.

Glad you got it sorted.👍

No problem with flying boats except that they haven't modelled water physics properly at all, which kills some of the immersion.

Yes!!! That's the weird part. The water is maybe a meter deep so on takeoff and landing with these boats you'll touch the ground underneath and hear a scraping sound. Jörg once talked about bathymetry coming eventually but clearly that's not high up on their list.

I like the attention to detail in harmonizing the city update and the rest.

Do we have the right to be unhappy with a free supplement?

Will be interesting to see which is better, the Asobo Cologne-Bonn Airport, or the Aerosoft version.

They'll have to 'go some' to better the Aerosoft version as it's beautiful!

Yes...Here we are not in the same problem of tiles loading as the plane moves but in fast and poor quality work that is indefensible because it is free. Excessive free supplements it's a strategy like any other. Nothing serious, it's not going to change my life and my opinion. And when I read some who claim that MSFS is the only simulator to have done extraordinary things where the others Sims have failed, i pour myself a second glass of very good wine to savor this ridiculous moment.

Unfortunately those defining borders were there before the city update. Along with the layers fighting with each other depending on altitude. It's awful

One area and a difference of only a few feet and *poof*

I do enjoy your poetic criticism.   It tends to be accurate even if some people don't like to hear it.
I am grateful for a lot of things MSFS brings to us, especially for free, but a lot of complaints about the fundamental issues still fall on deaf ears, and some people try to crush these criticisms because we get a lot of stuff for 'free' - I think that is the main driver for those wearing the rose-tinted spectacles.

We are three years in now, and a lot of fundamental issues still exist.  Then again, if they were solved, the reasons for 2024 would be less convincing.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio!

Intel 13900K in a ROG Strix Z690 motherboard with water cooling, Asus RTX 4080, 32 GB 3600 DDR4 RAM, 3 x Samsung 1 TB NVME M.2, with MSFS on a Samsung 980 pro.

Yes Bob, that's exactly it. That doesn't stop me from loving MSFS and enjoying it in certain contexts that I like,by making shots for example and sharing them. I also give myself the right after purchasing MSFS to give my opinion on certain things that I find crude and not worthy of an NG simulator as it claims.I don’t like to beat around the bush and I’m not here to build a team either ( Others are really so excellent in this area that there is nothing left above their little heads except the sun.... )

I prefer to defend what I love alone, without a net.

Another natural pleasure that I love out of greed. It annoys dieticians.

Made already a Zendesk ticket and it's also about trees all over the place, unfortunately not the best QA effort from the ASOBO team 🙃

Sure, and there lies a perfectly legitimate reason for people to have a gripe and get frustrated! There are too many fundamental issues which should have been sorted the moment they were reported.

Sarcasm detected? 😁 Despite the fact these defining borders were there before all the city updates, you'd think they'd fix it WITH the city updates.

Do you get this hot mess on the World Map also? (just recorded this)
