If you did not (a box should have poped up asking you to allow the changes the first time you ran FSX after installing Acceleration) the new key commands will not work.

Hmm..I had to install Acceleration twice. The first time it asked me and I said yes. The next install it never did.Let me go see if I can manually assign them.MannyYeah..I assigned them manually and that worked. But I keep crashing the ;anding on the carrier. Hmmm...I am coming in at 130 knots and I thought it was a decent landing. Oh well!:(

Hi FolksManny -Save yourself some work, (there's a lot more remappings).Ensure FSX is not running. For XP, look in -C:Documents and SettingsUSERNAMEApplication DataMicrosoftFSXControlsRename Standard.xml to Standard_OLD.xmlIn the root of your FSX folder, you'll find a 'native' copy of the Standard.xmlCopy this to C:Documents and SettingsUSERNAMEApplication DataMicrosoftFSXControlsFire up FSX,and the configs will be applied.HTHATBPaulhttp://www.basys.f9.co.uk/resources/images..._sig_500x94.jpghttp://www.fs-odg.com

The missions can be frustrating if you miss or do not understand what they are trying to get you do exactly do.There are triggers that must be set off or some missions do not work. For example. The helicopter/drug smuggling mission. I took off and intercepted the planes. I kept hearing about do not spook them and stay out if sight. So I stayed back.Followed them for 100 miles and eventually hit 16x acceleration till I was passed the Bahamas.I gave up and decided I would end the mission by crashing into them. Just as I was about to collide, the trigger set off and new dialog about the mission continued.

I am usually lost and don't know what I need to do next. But after I do it once, I would know what to do..but then is it fun to do it the second time. Some missions could be fun to do the second or third time.. its these missions that I would really like to have. Different route and different paths. This way you are not just focusing on the next cookie to get.

Hi FolksThe Acceleration missions are designed to be flown multiple times. Many, possibly all, have different routes, events, & outcomes, depending both, on what you do, and randomization. As a relatively quick example mission, try flying the "High Altitude Intercept" mission a couple of times. You'll notice the target can fly different routes. The "Customs Intercept" mission involves many more variations. The missions had to be designed to fly on the lowest res, (1024x768),so if you're running a higher res monitor, you'll be able to see the targets from further away.Suggest flying closer to the target aircraft, (< 2 miles).HTHATBPaulhttp://www.basys.f9.co.uk/resources/images..._sig_500x94.jpghttp://www.fs-odg.com
