Redwing Airport EDDI Tempelhof 1935

Recommended Posts

Hi simmers 😃

Now I have finally found a suitable airport for the Connie.

Old style, what the shots may have looked like around 1935..

Great shots of ...back in time... the atmosphere of the 1930's at Berlin Tempelhof is here sublime shown and animated. Indeed a perfect scenery for the Connie and of coarse the Ju52.

Still a visitor from the (near) future but close enough. 🙂 That's a wonderfully atmospheric scenery. I like the old-style radio broadcast antenna on the terminal buidling.

Fantastic shots, buddy, although the Connie only started taking to the air in 1943. I have the whole series of these airports and I just love flying around these airports with a vintage plane 🙂

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Evocative and nostalgic pictures, pmplayer.

As far back as I can recall, in the SIM, folks have been talking about recreating the period feel to the airports and such...for a more realistic experience ....so, it's great to see these pictures...and to know that some (MSFS) DEVs are thinking about it...

1935 is a great choice...time of the Junkers and all, but it's also wonderful to see your KLM Connie here...that would appear just a few years into the future ....🙂 ...

Thanks for sharing...!
