Because the thread is on the MSFS forum page and you'll see it even if you put OP ignore. We don't need a thread every time there's a """"content drop""" of 32MB, especially if someone is in the beta, saying "anyone else get this?" Just go the MSFS forum, then share the news post here for discussion if so inclined.

Why are you (and others) so strident on the topic of a post?  Has civility sunk so far that we as humans find it impossible to ignore something that does not interest us WITHOUT COMMENT?

Sadly, I think not and that is simply a shame.

And why do we need a single thread for each tiny update? It clutters up the forums and makes it more difficult to see the actually relevant topics.

First of al Farlis, you fly complex airliners in this flight simulation I take it?   
So does quickly scanning 25 lines in a forum page to find threads that interest you, really un-nerve you to the point that it seems 'cluttered'?

Secondly, I really don't know how you can decide what is 'relevant' for everyone else.   I know you aren't a mind reader - they really don't exist!

I have no problem with the original post or others like it. When it was first posted, an unexpected (minor) update to the Beta had dropped, and there had not yet been any information about it on the official MSFS forum. The OP was curious what the update was.

If these kinds of topics are of no interest then simply ignore them.

Yeah I can barely manage myself. It’s just such a challenge. 

Kind of strange to keep bumping a thread you don’t think should exist.
