DX10 dual monitor issue

Featured Replies

I am having an issue with using dual monitors with the DX10 preview enabled. I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and more importantly if anyone knows how to correct it.If I enable the DX10 preview, my flight will display in the second monitor. The game loads on the primary monitor just fine, all menus and flight/mission selection 'stuff' is on the primary monitor...when I go to fly, the flight appears on the second monitor. While flying with DX10, I can switch from full screen to windowed mode

Joel,Check your resolution after you made the DX10 change.

thanks...I have. I am running 1280X768 (and tried 1280X720) (both wide screen) and is also the same rez as when I run DX9. That being said, it does look as though it might be running at a lower res in DX10 but I couldnt be sure, might have just looked that way if AA was not working.Have confirmed though that within FSX my settings are the same for both monitors and the same as used in settings for DX9.j

Yeah I've experienced the same monitor problem. Only happened once though after setting the DX10 Preview and re-starting the sim.I have found that using DX10 can cause my second monitors wallpaper to look rather messed up after I've finished flying and closed down FSX. This wasn't an issue before Acceleration and doesn't happen when set to DX9.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

quite same issue here.

i got a surround moded 3 monitors making one big 4088*800 display, plus one external identified as second display at 800*600.

in DX9 no problem, i can play using the external for the ATC.

in DX10 the resolution is all messed up in both displays.

any solution found? ...sad...
