October 9, 20232 yr Petter from Mentour Now and Ben from AirlinePilotPerformance are presenting a series of training videos on getting the 737 cockpit setup from cold and dark to programming the FMC to getting the plane airborne. They each have about 20 years of experience on the 737 and are training pilots. They go into detail as to the why's of the procedures. Hope those using the PMDG 737 might find these helpful.

I have already watched five of them, and learned a great deal about flying the 737. Well worth it, learning from career pilots on this aircraft. https://www.youtube.com/live/ad2WtbQ...ovR-zGi2-hP0Un https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8ZJhZ7M5gQ How to hold like a pro!! https://www.youtube.com/live/2D8Q2gyLoZQ?si=d4NhjSG_DvrpljtM **EDIT** We had some sound issues at the start, so fast forward to 3 mins to skip that part (unless you're good at lip reading!)Holding is a necessary proced... October 10, 20232 yr They did this once before, 6 months or so ago. It was a really good course. If they stick to the previous procedure, they'll devote one video to selling a higher-level course which is rather expensive but I bet it's pretty great. I didn't have time for it myself so I can't review that part, but the free series is well worth your time. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

I purchased a Training book on the 737 watched every video on Youtube, and still learned a great deal watching these Mentour Videos. I was actually surprised all all the new things that I learned.
October 12, 20232 yr I think they moved here for some reason.https://www.facebook.com/groups/virtual737course My guess is, they probably were getting spammed by people threatening to report them to the FAA or some such nonsense. I was reading somewhere there are YouTube trolls who sift through aviation videos looking for supposed infractions they can report to the FAA and the FAA is obliged to investigate every complaint no matter how silly or trivial.
October 12, 20232 yr Neither one of them are from the USA, so the FAA would tell the trolls to pound sand. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
October 12, 20232 yr They moved it to the Facebook group to drive traffic to that group. They are going to archive the courses "to focus on the pro course" at the end of this week, so watch them while you can.
