Mentour Pilot 737 training videos

Featured Replies

Petter from Mentour Now and Ben from AirlinePilotPerformance are presenting a series of training videos on getting the 737 cockpit setup from cold and dark to programming the FMC to getting the plane airborne.  They each have about 20 years of experience on the 737 and are training pilots.

They go into detail as to the why's of the procedures.  Hope those using the PMDG 737 might find these helpful.

I have already watched five of them, and learned a great deal about flying the 737. Well worth it, learning from career pilots on this aircraft.

They did this once before, 6 months or so ago. It was a really good course. If they stick to the previous procedure, they'll devote one video to selling a higher-level course which is rather expensive but I bet it's pretty great. I didn't have time for it myself so I can't review that part, but the free series is well worth your time.

Let me guess, they will find a way to monetarize this.

I hope I can find time to watch these.  They look great.

I have thousands of flights on the PMDG 737 with two sims. I purchased a Training book on the 737 watched every video on Youtube, and still learned a great deal watching these Mentour Videos. I was actually surprised all all the new things that I learned.

Wonder why the videos are not available any more.

I think they moved here for some reason.

My guess is, they probably were getting spammed by people threatening to report them to the FAA or some such nonsense.

I was reading somewhere there are YouTube trolls who sift through aviation videos looking for supposed infractions they can report to the FAA and the FAA is obliged to investigate every complaint no matter how silly or trivial.

Neither one of them are from the USA, so the FAA would tell the trolls to pound sand.

They moved it to the Facebook group to drive traffic to that group. They are going to archive the courses "to focus on the pro course" at the end of this week, so watch them while you can.

These links should work, but view them ASAP, don't know how long they will be up.
