CYUL...which to get... BMW or MS Studios?

Hey guys....saw a few topics that I thought had the info I needed but I never saw a good answer.

Which one if I'm on Ryzen 5 7600x 4070TI and DX12 with 32gb ram?

I saw mention of possible BMW issues in DX12, but I have their KPHX and it seems to do ok in DX12.

Thoughts?

Sigh....maybe one day Avsim won't be so quirky...deleted this info since the Edit link on the original post just started working...but now it seems that the edit button this reply isn't...the 1st few times I tried it

I bought BMW, and performance is fine! Go get it.

10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home

I bought BM World at 50% off as it seemed to look better than MK Studios, and most importantly it was 50% off.   BMW is decent but very hard on VRAM in DX12...with 16GB VRAM on my 4080 I run out and get stutters.  It has some outstanding AI traffic issues as well.  Over on their Discord (oh god I've become one of them 🙂) FSimStudios has said they'll be providing an update on a few projects on Friday and are planning to release (I assume CYUL) Monday or Tuesday next week if all goes well.  I'll certainly be moving to their version once released.

From FSS Discord:

"There will be an announcement on Friday, including future plans
CYUL, CYWG, Planned Updates, etc.
That announcement will be followed by a release, likely monday or tuesday next week"

Which airport do you think is the best at FSimStudios?

 I guess he can do the interior very accurately. But they should pay more attention to the exterior. I'm also ready to buy the FS version. I see that MK also joined the sale. It will be interesting.

Yeah, FSS has been delayed with no end in sight.

 

Sucks cause the BM version is giving me pink textures that I can’t get rid of. No matter how many times I try to delete and re install.
