Possible to uninstall Acceleration?

Recommended Posts

Guest kd001

Just wondering, is it possible to uninstall acceleration without uninstalling FSX? Because I was surprised to see that a lot of people who are not happy with acceleration are talking about reinstalling FSX all over again. And no I cannot find out for myself because it hasn't been released here.

Been thinking about uninstall Acceleration as well. Since I have also installed the patch for UTX will I have to uninstall UT-X and reinstall? At least on my PC it appears that the blurries show up more often. Will see if Accel is contributing to the blurry syndrome. Thanks,Carl

In Vista/Control Panel my program list doesn't have separate entries for FSX and Acceleration. I now have just one entry: Mirosoft Flight Simulator X:Acceleration so my fear is that if I uninstall it I'll delete both FSX & Acceleration.

Sorry to insist, but how? Just deleting the directory? Or does Acceleration leaves behind an uninstall file? In short, what I would need to know is whether is easy to uninstall it if should I get some adverse effects.I apologize to ask this, but I read somewhere that Acceleration could not be uninstalled - unless one creates a restore point. But your message indicates otherwise!Again, many thanks!Best regardsEdmundo
