FSReborn devs have posted on their Discord that (unless MS mess things up) their highly anticipated Piper M500 will be releasing this Thursday (2nd Nov).

No word yet (that I have found at least) on pricing.

I heard it won't be called 'Piper' anymore. 

Excellent. I've been waiting for this one for quite some time. Looking forward to flying it this coming weekend..

According to Raul (the lead dev) on his Discord, the price will be US$32.99

This is true. It's being referred to as the "FSR500" rather than the "Piper 500". Likely a licensing thing.

I give it about 2 hours after launch before the first liveries appear with the original company logos.

They could call it the Pooper M500, I'd still buy it and fly it 😊

Re: the lack of Piper decals.  I don't mind that at all, but in the stream with Twotonemurphy, I noticed "FSR" branding in some places on the plane (the yoke I think from memory), which I personally find a bit of an immersion killer.   Reminds me of some old Carenado aircraft (FSX era) where there were "Carenado" decals and logos in some places on the plane.

I think no branding woud be better than non-avation, dev branding.  That's no offence intended to FSR ... just think this type of dev branding is quite an immersion killer.

I was hoping to put a game inside the EFB tetris type just with my logos.. or a Pacman type of game where my logo eats everything around.. 🤔

Still never got a response, if the prop disc will be like seeing it like in a video (completely wrong) or like with bare eyes... @simbol?

That would be via custom mods, the majority of my customers like the props being developed as per msfs SDK specifications.

Unable to please everyone on that, but our research clearly indicates people prefer the way it has been done. Unfortunately you are in the minority, don't worry the texture of the prop is clearly identifiable and you can modify it to your needs.
