Thanks for the different screen shots of the panel. Apparently you can select between two panels, one with the WX radar and one with the GNS GPS. I don't recall seeing the WX radar in the Trailer or the MP screen shots. Are there any other options?

I'll have to play around with it more later but the switches on the radar in the "classic" version do move. Not sure if you're supposed to see anything, though.

The Two Tone Murphy video posted last page shows the weather radar working.

not needing a type rating did turn out to be a bit of a.... mistake.

(The Mu-2 is a bit of handful and somewhat idiosyncratic so pilots coming straight off a twin engine conversion course into one would get into trouble, do what they'd been taught on the course and discover the hard way the Mu-2 doesn't work that way)

It did sadly, an excellent plane that just needed the right training

I bought it and will install tomorrow. The engine-startup sounds in the twotonemurphy-video seem right. I have always been a fan of the Honeywell / Garrett TPE331 so it is a must for me.

MSFS, HP Reverb G2, Gigabyte B760 32Gb, Samsung 970 EVO, Geforce RTX 4070-TI, Win11, i7-14700KF, Thrustmaster T16000M, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals

Manual and checklist are in the resources folder, but no performance data (max payload etc). Anyone knows where to get that?

Has the TPE331 been simulated accurately? It's a geared turboprop so it operates at 95-100% rpm all flight and propeller pitch is used to vary thrust, with a govenor maintaining the engine RPM. If it behaves just like a PW100 or PT6 it will be a no-buy for me.

Would you expect an accurate Garrett for 10 bucks?

@ryanbatc Well I didn't expect an accurate ATR 42 & 72 for $20 but here we are

Is it just me or are MSFS clouds starting to look more......solid?

Never mind, he's using a preset apparently

Good to see I wasn't the only one noticing that, I felt "guilty" because I know I was supposed to be looking at the plane, not the sky lol. Maybe.. someday Asobo will give some love to the clouds....

I guess that depends on your definition of accurate hehe.  For the price, it's a decent plane I'll give you that.

This was Japan's first plane to sell to their WWII opponents after the war. If you can't beat them, sell them stuff!
