Again one more update. Completely useless, therefore absolutely indispensable. For those flying and parking in this area of the airport the Mil Mi-2 all black helicopter is iconic these last months at LFPN. It’s now in the v2.0.4 as a static (non flyable) among other improvement on static aircraft and helicopters + minor texture fixes. Enjoy!

Yesterday, I made a quick (real) flight and notice some improvement I should made for my freeware scenery. Every real VFR pilots at LFPN knows how to find the Rambouillet VOR and the lack of this very noticeable water tower next to the decommissioned VOR RBT was a major error in MSFS! Now it’s fixed among other things like the ground marking “NO ENTRY” for the very specific S1 taxiway.

• Add missing “No Entry” ground marking at taxiway S1 07R/25L
• Add Water Tower next to (former, now decommissioned) RBT VOR
• Fix runway 07R threshold
• Fix yellow taxiway line missing btw E1 and E4
• Fix position of Mil-Mi2 helicopter
• Fix S2 taxiway sign

For the real VFR addicts, I’ve just updated my scenery to 2.1.0 with 2 visual points on route RBT ↔ Sierra for VFR integration: the DGSI stations (antennas) at Boullay-Les-Trous (east of the route when northbound) and a Tower located in COSTIC campus (west of the route when northbound)

… and also:

• Add helicopter’s startup position at Hege Helicoptere
• Add Hege Helicoptere Sign on Hangar East area
• Fix wrong passive blue lighted pole threshold 07R
• Fix various taxiway markings
• Clean trees around Chateau de Villier-le-Bacle

Quick update with this 2.1.1 that fix a major elevation and terraforming issues located where was added the tower and antenna area on route to Sierra. You also gain a brain new checkerboard visual landmark to identify the inner and outer circuit on base runway 25.

• Fix the elevation issue between SIERRA Visual Reporting Point and RBT Vor
• Fix Sens Interdit (no entry) signs positions
• Add a new visual landmark (Red & White checkerboard) on crosswind 07 / base 25

 

Update 2.1.2 fixes the missing texture "NO ENTRY" ground marking at the taxiway S1, remove (for MSFS2024) (to be finally confirmed) the red and white checkerboard on downwind and finally start fixing general elevation issue.

Great picture. Clouds look so real. (They’re so frustrating in MSFS, sometimes picture perfect, sometimes…..not)

🛫 Toussus-le-Noble LFPN – Update v2.1.3 Released!

Hi everyone! I’ve just rolled out the latest update (v2.1.3) for my Toussus-le-Noble Airport scenery for MSFS, and it’s live on flightsim.to..

This update is based on your feedback, thanks for taking the time to help improve the scenery! Here’s what’s new:

🔧 Changelog – v2.1.3

• 🟢 Fixed terrain elevation issues (steps) near the S1 holding point – big thanks to *BlueArrow* for reporting this!
• 🌿 Removed fake ponds and excess vegetation near the D938 road for better realism
• 🛣️ Corrected misaligned taxiways to improve ground accuracy

Your suggestions truly make this project better with each iteration. Let me know what you think of the new fixes—and if you spot anything else, feel free to drop a comment or suggestion!

Behind the scenes of the work to adjust Toussus (LFPN) to match the new satellite imagery from SU16. All the taxiways and their markings need to be repositioned, every sign aligned with the traces in the grass, and the blue night lights reset. I’m also taking the opportunity to add details here and there: arrow markings on taxiway ECHO, the VOR check/alignment area at holding point 25R/07L, and plenty of other details, sometimes purely cosmetic. After Le Touquet (LFAT) - also a freeware - which was already a big task, Toussus is shaping up to be just as painstaking...
