Finally just 1 program to run!

Thx for your comments, I will add the PSXT.exe, but did you not notice the PSXT.exe shortcut at your desktop?

TL;DR: my desktop’s a mess and I missed it; start menu doesn’t index the desktop

I must’ve mistakenly deleted it because I thought it was a shortcut from the “old” PSXT before it was renamed PSXTraffic, and since there were two of the same icon, I removed the former. Found it in the recycle bin deleted by me recently… oops! Disclaimer: this is likely before I realized there was the forked binary

So yes, installer adds it to desktop, but not the start menu (which I typically use more than the desktop personally, but that’s just me - other’s experiences will vary).

Thank you again for the countless hours of work!

I have just renewed my RT license and activated it in the RT app. Then downloaded and installed PSXT v4.3. It seems that PSXT does not recognize my RT license. At least, the UI does not look like in the 4.3 release notes. Did I miss something?

Ylou must put your new license in the parameters.xml file. See the QuickStartGuide.pdf

Can you use the PSXT program with MSFS live traffic? I am fine with the MSFS schedules, but I would like to see correct airlines at correct gates and also get rid of the default liveries creeping in. How exactly does the program work? do you have to buy both programs because as I understand it there is a program for correct parking and then a program for seeing the live traffic. I downloaded PSXseecon but I don't know what that does, so I think I am not understanding.

There is now only one application you need to download which is psxt.exe.

BUT you need to purchase a subscription for the aircraft data at https://rtweb.flyrealtraffic.com/.

The way psxt works is, it takes AI aircraft you already have installed and then matches those aircraft against the live data coming from realtraffic. PSXT then places the AI you have installed, into MSFS

So to sum it up you need to purchase the realtraffic subscription for the data and download psxt.exe ( which is free )

Nico please fill in if I missed anything.

Best

I downloaded PSXseecon

That is not the right program  it is for home cockpit building.

You must download PSXTraffic and use the PSXT.exe program from that software package.

And don't run the AIG Traffic controller.

See the Quick Start Guide.
