November 21, 20232 yr The plane is pretty good. But I can't figure out how to properly shut down an engine in flight....or i'm not sure if it's simulated. The prop doesn't feather...the sounds and 'head movements' appear tied to the throttle levers themselves and not what is actually going on with the plane. i.e. the engine indications show that the engine is shut down, but the prop won't feather, it stays around 300RPM. If I (with the engine shut down) push the throttle up on the dead engine, i get a head movement that suggests the engine is producing power, along with an rpm increase sound. hmmm. Could be a bug. Yes, that's what I've done. But it means unnecessary view changes back and forward between the pilot and co-pilot seats, whereas if the tablet was on the left, I could just glance down (I do use TrackIR).
