FSX Logo visual glitch with SP2 !!!!!!! -SCREENS-

Recommended Posts

Have a look at those screens....It happens for half a second with complex aircrafts only, when changing view: the FSX logo appears instead of normal textures!!!This is only when DX10 preview and Bloom effect enabled.- same issue with 3 different drivers- HD defragmented with O&O- high end computer- Vista 64 with all MS updates- never had this issue before SP2I love computers...*:-* EDIT: Your second image exceeded our size restrictions and was removed.

I've got such trubles too, but only in Free Flight preparation screen. Just after choosing an other plane for example, Aircraft texture is made with this logo during one or two seconds until textures loading finished. For information, i'm running Vista 32 and it only happens with DX10 preview. An other problem for me is AA doesn't working in the same screen (free flight). Also in flight, sprobe lights are invisible...

>This is only when DX10 preview and Bloom effect enabled.>- never had this issue before SP2Well, I guess you wouldn't have "had this issue before SP2" since you never had DX10 before SP2 either! *:-*

Seems like this might be the same thing some of us 7-series nVidia users see, with the tooltips and vid mem buffer. In our case, it's a driver issue.Seems like you're seeing a similar thing with DX10, in that you're getting a view of a texture that was in vid memory, sticking around.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

Yep. I get the same issue!!!Hey David, how do you get your bloom in the cockpit so strong in DX10 mode? Seems like the bloom in DX10 is way turned down compared to DX9 which is a shame i think.Matt

Well in fact the bloom is strong only in the PMDG 747-400 cockpit. It's even too strong and blinding with DX10.Personnaly I really don't like the bloom effect in Dx10 in external view either, DX9 was a lot nicer IMO
