They'll probably break MSFS with another SU

I'm genuinely dreading the next one in a few weeks. Everything is great right now and I actually don't want/need an update. 🙃

I'm hoping it will fix my constant CTD's. I'm not even bothering starting MSFS at the moment as it's such a lottery whether I will actually be able to fly or not. In that respect December 5th can't come soon enough.

Aside from one annoying bug that resets your assistance settings when you boot the sim up (a fix has already been found and will be implemented during the beta), SU14 Beta is excellent so far.

I don't want SU14 I'm perfectly fine using the sky color hack.

As a current beta tester, I completely agree with @Krakin. I've never before experienced such smooth and consistent performance in a sim as I'm now enjoying with SU14 beta. I previously couldn't use DX12 without suffering graphics artifacting. Now, with SU14, DX12 works superbly, thus allowing me to use Frame Generation.

Except for when using the iniBuilds A320 NEO on short final lol but a fix has been identified for that too.

I suppose the point being, I don't have any issues right now. All settings, mods, plasters and splinters working in perfect harmony and the inevitable update will blast apart this harmony surely, based on previous experience. Or maybe not, that's my lottery. 😳

The scenes or frames in the video changed far too quickly.  I don't know how you guys managed to make any real comparisons (other than pausing the vid).  My eyes must be tired and slow!  I found myself trying to get to grips with each segment and BAM it was gone.

I really hope they increase the draw distance of ground road traffic so we finally have a realistic looking approach from a little higher up, I think little details like that make a big impact on immersion.

If you refer to the texture leak at airports in external view with DX12 and the Bing tile swapping bug, none of these issues has been fixed in SU14 so far.

Yeah that was it 😞

We need to wait and see. Because some of these features were mentioned or promised for MSFS2020 but did not happen yet or will not happen ever. We will see what is advertised and what will be the reality, also for MSFS2024. Maybe some features will be on MSFS2028 🙂
