You may want to note that there is a Black Friday bundle deal for EIDWv2 and the Dublin Landmarks City Pack. I grabbed that one last week!

I already had the Dublin pack.  I like it for fact it added that water tower you can see from the airport, lol.  I did pick up Dublin V2 and it looks great, no performance issues.  I bought all the Ireland airports.  😃

KDCA is very cheap in the sales and it's without doubt one of the most stunning models in the sim. It even has terminal ambience.

Are we talking about the Drzewiecki Design version on Orbx?  I had a couple eastern US airports in the queue but I removed them, as the cost was rising.  I tend to not fly back east as much for some reason.  I tend to fly western US, including Alaska, then Western Europe and lesser Canada.  I think because some of these airports seem to cater to longer flights more and I shy away from anything greater than 1.5 to 2 hours total air time.

I bought KDEN, KPDX, KBOI, KLAS, PAJN, EGNX, EGAA, EIDW, EINN, and EICK.

If there is something anyone thinks I should really look at buying for its quality and location, then post it before the sales end 😄

I've already bought a Tobii Eye Tracker, TCA Airbus captain setup, and all these airports. 😦

Addon Linker has a map so you can see at a glance where they are.

Little Navmap also shows every addon scenery we have marked with a yellow circle on the map, and when we click on one of them it shows in what folder they are in.

I couldn't resist temptation, so I bought EGNX, that's a steal at about $10

I also bought the Zenith 701 because it was $1.69

Some of these deals...I have a lot of cheapskate in me, even that side of me goes for these deals.

I use the Reverse 5/second rule. LOL! When they become available I look at my log (Microsoft Excel).  If I have flown to that airport a second time already in MSFS, prior to any purchase, I ask myself If I in the future will likely fly there an additional five times.  If so, and if it looks good, I purchase.

I fly a fantasy schedule based on real world sports team schedules.  So as an example, with MLB, NHL, and NCAA Basketball, I will fly to airports like KMDW, KMSP, KMKC, KDAL, KBWI, KBOS, KLGA, KPHX, KLGB, KSNA, KBNA, KOAK, etc. multiple times per year.  If I have not already flown there twice, or not likely to fly there five times in the future, then my wallet stays in my pocket.

With FSX and P3D I totally overpurchased.  Learned my lesson.

You have better restraint then haha. I have the "oh wow! purty!" results

I had to buy a new 4TB Samsung T9 external SSD because my original 2TB SSD is full and I needed something with a 1500MB/s transfer rate to take advantage of SS USB 3.1 2x2 transfer rates.  I had an old 2TB Seagate slim but it only had a read rate around 110MB/s.  The performance degredation was too much and putting an airplane on that drive was a no-go slide show.  We will see if this new setup will allow me to put more stuff on the external hard drive.

I got BMW Oakland,  because I wanted it but not that badly to pay 20 bucks.  It's really a SWA only airport, and I already have too many of those.

So the I had to get DD Paine Field, because it looked awesome...And it is spectacular, but not worth 24 bucks.

and DD EWR was there too so I got that.  A little bad on performance, but very nice.

I got AXNOS Perth, because its the only Perth.... glad I did not pay full price, it is not good at all.  It dosent even look like Perth airport when you really compare rewaorld photos.  It's like did these guys even bother to do a simple internet search?

I got Dominic Design KELP.  I wanted that one but the price seemed high,  and I still maintain the normal price is too high. I also was unhappy with the lack of vegetation, so I made a vector file to add vegetation and fix water masks and now its pretty good.

I did also get Dominic KCHS Charelston, cause it was new and I need a place to test out Horizon Sim 787s.

I love the freeware ENGM but when the Aerosoft one came up for the price I jumped on it.  What a masterpiece!

I also got ESSA, its good but a few things let it down.  I already fixed the tree issue, but the AFCAD dosen't have gates assigned, which is my biggest pet peeve of any developer. But the sky city area looks really good.

I got Corfu.  Fly Tampa, nothing else needs to be said.  Just happy I can replace the freeware one which suited me well for a long time, and I just wasn't willing to pay 20+.

Northern Sky Juneau,  very nice scenery, good detail.  I was going to buy all the other milkrun airports, but it would have been expensive.

Orbx.  London City, been wanting that one for a while.

I make it a point to try to buy close hubs or outstations not too far from hubs. So ill make a list and do like:

southwest 737BMW KOAK to -pacificislandsim KSLC ,  United PMDG 738 DD KEWR to FB KIAD, Fenix A320 American Dominic KELP to BMW KPHX.  FSS E175 Dominic KCHS to FSDT KCLT,  PMDG norwegian 738 ORBX, ENGM to ESSA.

Yes! it worked out a little cheaper from the marketplace and Vertical Sims KTPA was cheaper from Orbx.

I also picked up GSX and a new CPU fan on my shopping blitz yesterday.

I got LGSK, LIEE, LIEO, LIPE, KTPA, KPVU, KLAS, KDCA, RJAA, LPFR, LBSF, LEBB.
May still get LFML, LFBD, KOMA

Edit: Just got LFBD 🙂

Aerosoft hasn't released their yet FYI. Sounds like you bought the Orbx one?

Has the performance of DD Newark improved?  I remember it getting panned upon release.

When it comes to scenery I’ve accepted that I’m a collecter…much easier than coming to terms with buying too many airports 😀

That’s funny. Still an amazingly well done scenery though either way.

Oh yes you are right, it is ORBX...  So this not the Jo Erlend one?  It's still amazing, I'm not sure who did it but this is the quality I expect from ORBX.

EDIT Ah okay Finn Hansen..   It's really good, I can't imagine why I would change.
